What is a job seeker visa?
The Job-seeker visa for Austria is a six-month permit intended for highly qualified (such as a scientist, high-level manager and individuals in certain other occupations) non-EU citizens who wish to work in Austria but have not yet managed to secure a job offer. The Jobseeker Visa allows you to look for work followed by a work permit if your job hunt has been successful. To be Eligible, you must score minimum 70 points out of 100 to apply for points-based Job-Seeker Visa.

On March 07th, 2019 the UK Home Office announced the exciting launch of UK Startup Visa route for non-European migrants who are willing to stay in the United Kingdom and invest through setting up of a business.

  • The startup Visa category is for early stage applicants for starting a business in the UK for the first time.
  • This visa category allows the main applicant to work in the UK, along with business to support themselves.
  • There is no age barrier, profession and education restriction; to be eligible to apply under the UK Startup business visa.

SETTLEMENT / PERMANENT RESIDENCY

  • Successful applicants are granted residency for 2 years and can also bring their family members (spouses/partners and children under 18) to the UK.
  • At the end of two years, Startup visa holders can extend their stay by applying for Leave to Remain, permanent settlement will be granted after five years.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR THE VISA?

If you are coming to the UK as an Overseas Business Representative you must:

Be recruited and employed outside the UK by a company whose headquarters and principle place of business are outside UK.

To be eligible for this visa you must: 

Pass an approved English language Test with at least CEFR level A1 in speaking and listening. 

DEPENDENTS
  • Overseas Business Representative Visa holder is allowed to bring dependents to the UK.
  • Your dependents are any of your children and your husband; wife, civil partner, or unmarried or same sex partner may join / remain with you in the UK.
  • Dependents are also allowed to study and work full time in the United Kingdom. 
SETTLEMENT
